MSME Registration
The MSME stands for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. In accordance with the Micro,
Small, and Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED) Act in 2006, the enterprises are classified
into two divisions.
- Manufacturing enterprises – engaged in the manufacturing or production of goods in any industry.
- Service entreprises – engaged in providing or rendering services.
Documents Required for MSME Registration -
- Identity Proof (Self Attested)
- Proof of resident.
- Quotation of machinery/other items to be purchased
- Details of supplier/price of machinery/items to be purchased/details of machinery
- Proof of identity of enterprise such license/registration certificate etc, address of enterprise
- Details of supplier/price of machinery/items to be purchased/details of machinery
- 2 Yrs. Projected balance sheets for Loan amount above 2 Lakh
- Complete record of ITR, GST, TDS if applicable.
- Proof of identity of enterprise such license/registration certificate etc, address of enterprise
Who can obtain MSME Registration:
All the business entities those falls under the criteria of the definition of MSME can register their
Enterprise for MSME Certification. As this MSME Certificate issues with lifetime validity by the
Ministry the entrepreneur should not worry about the procedures to update the Certificate.

- Proprietorship
- Partnership Firm
- Private Limited Company
- Public Limited Company
- Limited Liability Partnership
- Cooperative Society
- Hindu Undivided Family
- Trust
- Self Help Groups
