GST Registration
Goods and Services Tax (GST) is an indirect tax used in India on the supply of goods and services.
It is a comprehensive, multistage, destination-based tax. GST has replaced many indirect taxes in India
such as excise duty, VAT, services tax, etc.
Who needs to register for GST:
- Businesses with turnover exceeding ₹20 lakh (₹10 lakh for special category states)
- Inter-state suppliers of goods and services
- E-commerce operators and suppliers
- Casual taxable persons and non-resident taxable persons
Documents Required for GST Registration:
- PAN of the business / applicant
- Aadhar card of the proprietor/partners/directors
- Proof of business registration or incorporation certificate
- Address proof of business (electricity bill, rent agreement, etc.)
- Bank account details (cancelled cheque)
- Digital Signature (for companies and LLPs)
