Import Export Certificate

Import-export code registration is required for individuals who engaged in importing or exporting of goods and services from India. Import export code is a 10-digit alpha-numeric number issued by Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Government of India.

Who needs IEC:

• Any person/company importing or exporting goods from India
• Service exporters filing foreign exchange remittances

Documents Required:

• PAN card of the business entity
• Proof of establishment (incorporation certificate, partnership deed, etc.)
• Bank account details (cancelled cheque)
• Address proof of business premises
• Passport size photograph of applicant
• Digital photograph of proprietor/partners/directors
